Dr. Michèle Corriveau is an Associate Chiropractor with CURAVITA. Dr. Corriveau graduated from Palmer College of Chiropractic (Davenport, Iowa) in 2009. Being a chiropractor has been Dr. Corriveau’s ambition since childhood. Growing up playing basketball, her chiropractor was an important part of her health care team, and kept her moving well, and feeling well. At the same time, she had always had an interest in how the human body works, as well as a keen desire to work in healthcare. Chiropractic resonated strongly with her values.

Upon graduation, Dr. Corriveau practiced in the Quebec City region and moved to Ottawa in 2011 where she joined CURAVITA, at our Byward location. She joined the CURAVITA healthcare team because of its unique approach to practice, and patient service excellence. Dr. Corriveau valued the abundance of resources and tools, and working as part of a collaborative team – all pluses for her to become successful and be a great chiropractor! She values her colleagues and feels all are great professional examples to follow.

Dr. Corriveau’s primary practice techniques include Thompson, Diversified and Activator, as well as Logan and Gonstead.

Dr. Michele Corriveau  is the recipient of the OCA’s 2022 Community Service Award. The OCA’s Community Service Award celebrates a chiropractor who has made a significant contribution to enhancing the reputation of the profession through Community Service and /or Public Education. The recipient of this award is nominated by and voted upon by her peers.

Dr. Corriveau is passionate about giving back to her profession and community. She is a member of the Canadian Chiropractic Association and the Ontario Chiropractic Association where she volunteers her time in the area of government relations to advocate for MSK health and chiropractic to both provincial and federal governments, as well as other stakeholders to promote MSK health and awareness in Ontario and across Canada. In addition, Dr. Corriveau volunteers at the Ottawa Mission where she provides chiropractic services for its clients and works collaboratively with the internal healthcare providers as part of the on-site medical clinic team. Dr. Corriveau also served on the Board of Directors of the Women’s Business Network of Ottawa and sat as the Chair of the Marketing Committee for several years. She also gives regular health talks at the Pauline-Charron Centre.
