Dr. valérie Robichaud

Dr. Valérie Robichaud graduated from the University of Ottawa in the Bachelor of Health Sciences, Honours Program in 2018 and from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in Toronto in 2022.
Coming from a family of Chiropractors on her father’s side, Dr. Robichaud was exposed to this wonderful profession from a very young age. Both of her parents were in health care and she therefore always had a passion for health. It was only after starting her health science undergraduate degree that she really knew that Chiropractic was going to be her next step and she decided she wanted to pursue this profession.
As a Chiropractor, Dr. Robichaud has always loved listening to peoples’ stories about their health and is fascinated by the human body and how it functions. She is passionate about learning something new every day and being able to help others. She is ultimately focused on making a positive difference in other people’s lives throughout her career.
Dr. Robichaud believes in optimizing her patients’ health and how the body functions, as well as preventing future injuries. She also believes in collaboration with peers and other health care providers, always thinking in the best interest of the patient. Her goal is to help her patients feel their best and enable them to live their best life through chiropractic care. She understands that health is not just the absence of disease, but a combination of physical, mental, and social well-being.
Dr. Robichaud believes that manual therapy is a very powerful tool for chiropractors. She practices using a combination of diversified techniques and the Thompson technique. In addition, Dr. Robichaud is a big advocate for physical activity and the power of movement when it comes to rehabilitation.
When not in practice, Dr. Robichaud enjoys spending time with friends and family and exploring the great outdoors. In the summer, she enjoy walks on the beach collecting sea glass on the east coast where she is from. She also enjoys sailing and participating in local sailing races and regattas. In the winter, she enjoys skating on the canal, cross-country skiing, and trying out new recipes.
Please note that Dr. Robichaud is now practicing out of our CURAVITA Glebe Location.
