After 14 years working as a lawyer and law firm manager, Erin Crotty was ready for a change and followed her entrepreneurial calling. In 2011, Erin established BloomStra Consulting, based in Ottawa. Trained through the Protocol School of Washington, the Conselle Institute of Image Management, and Pro-Active Business Leadership, Erin became a certified executive coach and business etiquette, protocol and image management consultant, helping clients to build successful relationships in business, enhance their leadership skills and business acumen, and reach their professional goals.It was in this role that Erin began to work with the CURAVITA healthcare team in 2011.
Over the years, her role has evolved and she now joins CURAVITA as its Chief Business and Relationship Officer (CRBO). Under the direction of the CEO, Erin is responsible for the management of all internal and external relationships and their impact on the overall business growth and strategic vision of the Clinic. Erin helps to design and implement the Clinic’s plan for relationship strategies asset management; teaches and mentors all members of the healthcare team on how to establish, assess, maintain and improve every relationship they have with co-workers, supervisors, team members, clients and external stakeholders; trains employees how to develop, nurture and secure those invaluable client relationships to ensure excellence in service; develops, directs and manages the recruitment, onboarding and professional development of each member of the healthcare team; presents at educational conferences; creates, develops and attends at outreach opportunities with external stakeholders; and creates business strategies for the continued growth and development of the Clinic and the healthcare team.
Within the healthcare industry, Erin has presented numerous professional development programs at local, provincial and national chiropractic conferences that include the Eastern Ontario Chiropractic Society, the New Brunswick Chiropractors Association, the Ontario Chiropractic Association, the Canadian Chiropractic Association, the American Chiropractic Association, and the World Federation of Chiropractic.In addition, she has been honoured by Distinctive Women, a national publication and online community, that showcases exceptional entrepreneurs and outstanding achievers; and she has been interviewed by local and national media and contributed to numerous publications including iPolitics, Costco Connection Magazine, Ottawa InStyle Magazine, “What She Said” Sirius XM, Canada Talks; CTV News; Inspiration in Action TV with Kathie Donovan; “JUST” Magazine by the Ontario Bar Association; and the Canadian National Press.
Erin believes in the importance of giving back to our community and has held various leadership roles in this regard including with the Women’s Business Network of Ottawa, Women for Mental Health at the Royal Ottawa Mental Health Centre, and on the Board of Directors for Dress for Success Ottawa National Capital Region. When not at work, Erin enjoys travel, food and wine and sharing these experiences with her family.
