In 2019, Sakshi moved to Ottawa where she began practicing as a Resident Physiotherapist in good standing with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario. In 2022, Sakshi became a Registered Physiotherapist with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario. Growing up, Sakshi’s ambition was to be a part of the healthcare industry and contribute to her community. Sakshi has always been fascinated by the field of physiotherapy and its ability as a healthcare service to assist individuals in improving their physical capabilities and empowering them to accomplish more in their daily lives.

For Sakshi, one of the most gratifying aspects of being a physiotherapist is being able to alleviate a patient’s pain through treatment. She eagerly anticipates the opportunity to help her patients recover and maintain their health and wellness. In addition to providing pain relief, it is important for her to help her patients develop confidence in their physical abilities and enjoy their daily activities without pain. This involves not only treating the immediate injury or condition, but also educating patients on proper movement techniques and providing ongoing support and guidance. By instilling a sense of confidence and enabling patients to fully participate in their daily lives, Sakshi believes that she can help her patients achieve a better quality of life.

As a physiotherapist, Sakshi follows an evidence-based, patient-centric approach with her patients. She works collaboratively with her patients in customizing a treatment plan that takes into account their specific health and wellness goals and needs.

Sakshi believes in a hands-on approach to treatment and empowering patients to take an active role in their recovery. This may involve utilizing techniques such as Myofascial Release (MFR), mobilization Mulligan, taping, and acupuncture, which can be effective in promoting healing and reducing pain. Sakshi’s goal is to help her patients achieve long-term success in managing their condition and maintaining their physical well-being.

During her leisure time, Sakshi enjoys spending time with her family and engaging in various activities together. As a family, she has a mutual interest in hiking, DIY projects, playing board games, cooking, traveling, and socializing with friends. These shared experiences not only allow her to bond and have fun with her family and friends, but also create lasting memories
